As an Optalis Wound Care Coordinator (WCC) is responsible for the overall oversight of the wounds and skin concerns within the facility. They will lead weekly wound team rounds and processes, including rounds, measurements, interdisciplinary care plan review, treatment recommendations, physician orders, and required documentation. the WCC will manage and coordinate the wound care between the ancillary wound care extenders and physicians caring for the resident.
